Sun & Moon: Shining Synergy (Chinese: 太阳 & 月亮 交相辉映 Sun & Moon Shining Synergy) is the name given to the Second Simplified Chinese Pokémon Trading Card Game set
This set comes in two different packaging:
- 5-card booster packs include 5 cards per pack with one card guaranteed to be either Reverse Holofoil or has a rarity of Rare or above. Each 5-card booster box includes 30 booster packs.
- 25-card "Jumbo" booster packs include 25 cards per pack with one guaranteed PokémonGX card. Each 25-card booster box includes 24 booster packs.
The set was released on January 18, 2023 and consists of 3 subsets: Mu/Shower (Chinese: 沐), Kui/Supreme (Chinese: 魁) and Huan/Summon (Chinese: 唤), with each subset covering specific types of Pokémon cards. The Mu/Shower subset was assigned expansion mark CSM2a, has the Tag Team combination of Pokémon Slowpoke and Psyduck as its cover Pokémon, and features Water, Lightning and Metal Pokémon. The Kui/Supreme subset was assigned expansion mark CSM2b, has the Tag Team combination of Pokémon Gengar and Mimikyu as cover Pokémon, and features Grass, Psychic and Fighting Pokémon. The Huan/Summon subset was assigned expansion mark CSM2c, has the Tag Team combination of Pokémon Eevee and Snorlax as cover Pokémon, and features Fire, Darkness and Fairy Pokémon.
As with all other Asian-exclusive sets in the Sun & Moon era, Shining Synergy contains a large selection of cards in an effort to catch up with Japanese and international releases, with cards sourced from all remaining Japanese Sun & Moon Era sets. However, this set also includes Reverse Type Holofoil prints of all Common, Uncommon and Rare cards, which are exclusive to Simplified Chinese sets. Another feature exclusive to the Simplified Chinese cards is that all Holofoil cards including Reverse Holofoil have an English Pokémon logo embossed at the bottom left corner of the card under Expansion and Regulation Marks as proof of authenticity.[1] Secret cards feature an additional watermark with larger Pokémon logo and a latent image of Poké Ball, which is printed inside the card's rule box or on the right of the rarity symbol if the card doesn't have a rule box.

This time, the product "Shadow of Each Other" includes the starting deck "Shadow of Each Other GX" and 3 supplement packs, namely "Mu", "Kui", and "Summon". The long-awaited [TAG TEAM] will also meet trainers in the second product line. What changes will the powerful and unique [TAG TEAM] bring to the battle? Come and find out with us!
【TAG TEAM】
[TAG TEAM] is a series of powerful cards added to the second product of the Pokémon Card Simplified Chinese version [Sun & Moon] - [Interaction]. It is divided into [TAG TEAM GX] and [TAG TEAM Support] By】.
What is [TAG TEAM GX]?

[TAG TEAM GX] are very powerful Pokémon GX cards. They usually have high HP and can instantly stun the opponent's Pokémon on the battlefield or in the preparation area. They are a must-have in the deck. The strength of the buckle is responsible.

If the GX moves of [TAG TEAM GX] are additionally charged with energy, they can activate even more powerful effects!
For example, [Cross Allocation GX] of Sun Eevee & Deoxys GX can be activated when it is attached with 1 super attribute energy and 2 any attribute energy. 10 damage counters can be placed in any way. Once an opponent's Pokémon is equipped with 3 additional energy of any attribute, the number of damage counters that can be placed increases to 20!
The [Death Moon GX] of Eevee Moon & Darkrai GX only requires 1 energy of any attribute to be activated. The effect is that during the opponent's next turn, the opponent will not be able to use trainer cards from their hand. However, if 5 evil-type energy are attached, the opponent's battle Pokémon will be stunned directly. Instant attrition + restriction on hand card use, the battle situation is reversed from this moment.
You must be careful when using such a powerful [TAG TEAM GX]. Once your [TAG TEAM GX] falls into a coma, your opponent will get 3 reward cards.
What is [TAG TEAM Supporter]?
[TAG TEAM Supporter] is a very unique supporter card. In addition to providing you with various supports, it can also activate various powerful effects after meeting the conditions.

After using Mao & Sudora, you can exchange your battle Pokémon with the prepared Pokémon. If you discard 2 cards from your hand while using it, the Pokémon that was swapped to the prepared area can recover an additional 120 points. HP.
The same goes for Zhulan & Cattleya. If you choose to discard a card in your hand when using it, the additional effect is to draw 3 cards from the top of your own deck.
【Share each other】Introduction to some cards
We will start with the supplementary packs [Mu], [Kui], and [Summon] to show you the unique charm of [Interaction].
Supplementary Pack [Mu]:

The supplement pack [Mu] contains water, thunder, and steel-type Pokémon as well as supporting trainer cards.
Cover Pokémon: Slowpoke & Ducky GX:

The cute and cute Slowpoke and Ducky are not to be missed
As the basic Pokémon, Slowpoke and Ducky GX have 250 HP and can attract a certain amount of firepower after entering the field. [Drop Splash], which can be activated with 2 water attribute energy, can discard the supporter cards in the hand, causing 40 points of damage x the number discarded.
[Heartbeat Time GX] can cause 10 points of basic damage. When 2 water attribute energies are activated, a coin can be tossed once. If it is heads, an additional 100 points of damage will be added. If 6 additional water attribute energies are attached, that is to say, if it is activated with 8 water attribute energies attached, the number of coin tosses becomes 10, which can theoretically cause 1010 points of ultra-high explosion damage! It’s better to take action than to have a heartbeat, so be brave enough to flip a coin!
Recommended combination: Xiaoxia's wish + Laplace

Misty's Wish can quickly add supporter cards to the hand, and combined with Slowpoke & Coduck GX's [Didiu Splash] can cause considerable damage. At the same time, Laplace's characteristic [Merman Call] can add a Misty's Wish from the discard pile to the hand. With the assistance of these two cards, Slowpoke & Coduck GX can become your stable firepower point to continuously cause damage.
Other Pokémon included in the booster pack [Mu]:

*The above cards are included in the supplement pack [Mu].
Supplementary Pack [Kui] Chapter:

The supplement pack [Kui] contains Grass, Super, and Fighting-type Pokémon as well as supporting trainer cards.
Cover Pokémon: Gengar & Mimikyu GX:

What kind of sparks will the naughty Gengar and the cute Mimikyu collide with?
In a battle, if you send Gengar & Mimikyu GX on the field, your opponent will have a headache.
[Ling Sao] can cause corresponding damage according to the number of trainer cards in the opponent's hand. More importantly, you can also check the opponent's hand. With Gengar & Mimikyu GX present, the battle situation is under your control.
[Haunted House GX] When attached with 1 super attribute energy, the effect is that during the next opponent's turn, the opponent cannot use cards from their hand. If there are 2 super-attribute energies attached, both parties can also draw cards from the top of the card library until the number of cards in their hand reaches 7. Use it at the right time and use your ghosts to win.
Recommended combination: scare box + spiny ammonite beast

The more trainer cards the opponent has in his hand, the higher the damage caused by Gengar & Mimikyu GX's [Spirit Sao]. By using the scare box, it is a good choice to return the trainer cards in the opponent's discard zone to the opponent's hand to increase the damage, or to return the cards that the opponent deliberately wants to discard to disrupt the rhythm. If the number of Spiny Ammonites' Pokémon on your side is less than the opponent's Pokémon, your opponent will not be able to use items from their hand. If used properly, it will give your opponent double the headache.
Other Pokémon included in the booster pack [Kui]:

*The above cards are included in the supplement pack [Kui].
Supplementary Pack [Calling] Chapter:

The supplement pack [Summon] contains Fire, Evil, and Fairy-type Pokémon as well as supporting Trainer cards.
Cover Pokémon: Eevee & Kirby GX:

Eevee and his good friend Kirby support you together
The [Support] of Eevee & Kirby GX can attach an energy from a card in your hand to any of your Pokémon, and special energy can also be used.
[Throwing Suppression] only requires 4 energy of any attribute to activate. If the opponent's battle Pokémon is an evolved Pokémon, it can add 120 points of damage, making the total damage up to 240 points!
[Megaton Friendship GX] can cause 210 points of damage. If you add 1 additional energy, you can also draw cards from the card library until your hand reaches 10 cards. Since the energy required for Eevee & Kirby GX's moves is of any attribute, it can be used with many decks and is very versatile.
Recommended combination: Big Tongue + Monster Mania

Big Tongue's [Powerful Extraction] can extract the corresponding number of cards based on the number of Pokémon on the field with retreat energy of 4. The supporter card Monster Mania can quickly find up to 3 Pokémon with a retreat energy of 4 from the card library and add them to the hand. The retreat energy of Big Tongue and Eevee & Kirby GX are both 4, so they can be used with Monster Mania. If so, you can launch an offensive quickly.
Other Pokémon included in the booster pack [Call]:

*The above cards are included in the supplement pack [Call].
